Main test equipment:
Propeller dynamometer, laser velocimeter, cavitation observation and fluctuating pressure measurement system, noise measurement system, as well as large hydrophone acoustic array.
3. Experimental facility: Cavitation water tunnel laboratory
Facility introduction:
Built and put into use in 1969, the cavitation water tunnel laboratory is used for research and test on hydrodynamic characteristics of aquatic moving bodies such as ships and ship propellers. At the same time, the design and performance optimization of all kinds of marine propulsors are extensively carried out.
Main test equipment:
Long shaft bracket, water flow drive system, propeller speed system, propeller dynamometer, oblique current dynamometer, laser velocimeter system, noise measurement system and fluctuating pressure data acquisition system.
4. Experimental facility: Decompression towing tank laboratory
Experimental introduction:
The decompression towing tank laboratory was built and put into use in 1985. Main application direction: The decompression towing tank laboratory is the only test tank in China that can simulate the Froude number and cavitation number at the same time. It is equipped with an advanced particle imaging velocimetry (PIV) system, and can undertake the research on hydrodynamic performance of semi-submerged propellers, water test of semi-submerged propeller propulsion devices, cavitation self-propelled test of high-speed ships and PIV flow field measurement.
Main test equipment:
The moving object control, test data acquisition and remote wireless transmission and control system under decompression condition based on wireless network and virtual instrument technology; remote real-time observation and image transmission system of moving object flow image under decompression; onboard PIV flow field test system, propeller open water dynamometer.
