The project of R&D and Industrialization of Algae-cleaning Boats undertaken by CSSRC successfully passed the inspection organized by Jiangsu Science and Technology Bureau.  The project achievements have been found satisfactory and reached the world advanced level.

After three years of arduous work, CSSRC made key technological breakthroughs in algae cleaning, dehydration and volume reduction and developed 15 types of algae-cleaning boats (sucking type, separating type, comprehensive type, surface concentrated-processing-type, movable algae-water-separating type) and more than 12 auxiliary algae-cleaning devices, including portable-type, floating-type, suspension-type, manned-type algae suckers, water-land transportation equipment and algae-concentration equipment, forming a national testing, designing and manufacturing base with a strong development capability for water-environment treatment equipment.

With 24 patents, the products of the project have been sold to many parts of China and various algae-cleaning boats developed by CSSRC are playing a very important role in water environment protection.
