The Ecological Mud-removing Project of Small Qinhuai River in Yangzhou was successfully completed by CSSRC on April 23, 2012.

This project was conducted by adopting a fast processing technology - the underwater ecological mud-removing and mud-dehydrating technology solely developed by CSSRC.

Characterized by its advanced technology, feasible techniques, environmental friendliness and less effects on river dams, such a fast processing technology, in comparison with the traditional method of dam-making, water-pumping, mud-removing and mud-transportation, has the advantages of occupation of less area, low noise, more safety and less disturbance to the nearby residents. It can be the preferred method for mud-removing in urban rivers.
