The eddy-removing fin, a hydrodynamic energy-saving device developed by CSSRC, installed on a 57000DWT bulk cargo, has shown after a three-month operation a conspicuous reduction of oil consumption from a daily 30.1 tons to 29 tons, saving more than 300,000 RMB.
