On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, I would like to invite you to attend SUTTC2013, which is to be held in Shanghai from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2, 2013. SUTTC2013 is the second symposium to be organized by China Ship Scientific Research Center in the name of SUT China (Society for Underwater Technology, China Branch) for scientists, engineers and practitioners at the forefront of development all around the world to present their latest researches, achievements, ideas and applications in subsea areas. We are honored to host this symposium and look forward to welcoming our friends and colleagues from around the world.
SUT is a multidisciplinary society founded in 1966 with its head office in London that brings together organizations and individuals with a common interest in underwater technology, ocean science and offshore engineering，and has members from around 40 countries, including engineers, scientists, other professionals and students working in these areas.
