The 6600DWT energy-saving and environment-friendly bulk carrier designed and developed by CSSRC for Nanjing Huahai Ship Corporation has undergone a successful trial and finished the relevant EEDI full scale tests at the presence of CCS surveyors.

The test results showed the ship speed was beyond the predicted 0.15kn while the daily fuel consumption was below the predicted 0.2t.  The excellent maneuverability and performance of vibration noise obtained unanimous approval from CCS, funding agencies, interested buyers and main equipment suppliers. At present CSSRC is actively engaged in the design improvement and optimization of the ship.
