International Workshop on Deepwater Engineering Development held in CSSRC

In order to promote deepwater engineering development and to inter-communicate domestic and foreign deepwater engineering technology, the international workshop on deepwater engineering development has been held in CSSRC on 17th March, which has attracted a number of experts in this field both home and aboard, including China University of Petroleum, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, Tride Group, Seoul National University, The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Polytechnic University of Cataluña. Total 11 reports have been presented during the workshop, experts have shared their experience and results in research and development of deepwater engineering, and also put forth suggestions on the future development of deepwater engineering. The workshop has also attracted many technical experts and postgraduates from CSSRC to participate in.
Later the experts have visited some laboratories accompanied by Professor Weng, director of CSSRC, such as deepwater towing tank, sea-keeping basin, structure laboratory, cavitation tunnel, and have given a high credit on our mature test facilities and test technology.
