On 17^th July, SC8 workshop of ISO/TC8 (ship&marine tech.) came to visit CSSRC. After visiting a few laboratory facilities, such as Seakeeping Laboratory, Low-speed Wind Tunnel and Large Circulation Channel, SC8 chairman Mr.Sei-Chang Lee and his crew gave a high credit to those facilities along with mature laboratory technology.

Later, SC8 workshop participated in ISO/TC8/SC8 Academic Symposium. SC8 chairman Mr.Sei-Chang Lee made wonderful speech about the overview of ISO /TC8. Three engineers from various departments of CSSRC reported some research on ship propeller noise, IMO second Generation Intact Stability Criteria and expertise of Loads of Marine Structures separately. All the participants discussed about the three reports and shared their experience.

ISO/TC8/SC8 Academic Symposium Promoted the technical exchange with foreign experts and greatly enhanced the international influence of CSSRC at the same time.
