On the afternoon of September 22nd, the 28th ITTC full conference which lasted for 5 days concluded successfully.

Many fruitful results were gained in this conference. More than 230 scholars from nearly 100 marine scientific research institutes and universities in 30 countries, have conducted academic discussions focusing on academic and research issues in ship hydrodynamics, and further promoted the development of international ship hydrodynamics. During the conference, CSSRC invited attendees to visit some testing facilities in CSSRC, and further demonstrated our scientific research capabilities and potentials, meanwhile promoting mutual understandings with our international counterparts.

As an authoritative academic organization in international hydrodynamics, ITTC full conference was held every three years. CSSRC had participated in the 15^th ITTC conference for the first time on behalf of China shipbuilding industry. Over the past 40 years, an increasing number of China institutes and representatives are joining ITTC, and more Chinese specialists have become members of ITTC technical committees. Today, China has become one of the most influential countries in ITTC.
