On November 16, the tourism flagship "Bei You 25" designed by the Wuxi Dongfang High-Performance-Ship Engineering Ltd. that owned by China Ship Scientific Research Center was officially completed. Representatives of the maritime department, the ship inspection department, the shipyard and the ship-owner witnessed the completion of the ship construction and signed the confirmation letter together, which was about to be put into the North Sea-Weizhou Island tourism transportation.

This ship has total length of 84 meters, 15.5 meters wide, 850 passengers and 3938 tons, load displacement of 2673.7 tons, and speed 17.5 knots, the using the energy efficient propeller from CSSRC. The trial was successful, the float state of structure, speed, ship hull vibration and the cabin noise were all reaching the standard, and was praised by shipowners, which mark the CSSRC’s ability of the luxury cruise ship design be into the field of thousand tons.
