On August 14, CSSRC held a user Conference on Cooperative R & D and application of marine structure analysis software SAM in Wuxi. Nearly 20 shipping industry classification societies, universities, design institutes and representatives of shipyards attended the meeting online and offline simultaneously, and accepted the user appointment letters of first batch of cooperative R & D and application of SAM software.

SAM software aims at the new requirements of offshore structure design and Optimization for basic performance prediction and evaluation capabilities such as environmental load, structural safety, vibration noise and explosion impact. It is developed by CSSRC, and it is a general software with independent intellectual property rights, efficient parallel and engineering application in the field of offshore engineering.

SAM software was officially released in Shanghai International Maritime Exhibition at the end of 2019. At present, it has passed the internal test and formed stable v1.1 version. This R & D progress report has been fully affirmed by industry representatives. The participation of the first batch of cooperative R & D and application users will further promote the process of the R & D and application promotion of SAM software.
