Recently, the Cavitation Channel Laboratory of CSSRC has successfully completed the ship rolling gas layer drag reduction test, providing support for the design of the real ship scheme of gas layer drag reduction for domestic super large oil tankers.
 

The successful implementation of the ship rolling air layer drag reduction test has improved the design ability of the test scheme and test device of the Cavitation Channel Laboratory with complex and diverse test requirements, and has accumulated experience for exploring the research of ship hydrodynamic performance under maneuvering state.
