Recently, CSIC (China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation) Shanghai Marine Energy Saving Technology Development Co., Ltd (CMES-Tech), a subsidiary company of China Ship Scientific Research Center has successfully implemented the customization of ship energy-saving system solution for the 230,000 ton bulk carrier (“Li Da”), which has significantly improved the GHG energy efficiency rating of “Li Da” from F to C+.

“Li Da” energy saving system solution has been inspected by China Classification Society (CCS) and approved by Australia RIGHTSHIP Company. The actual ship operation test proves that the energy-saving solution can save the fuel consumption of the main engine by more than 6 tons per day, and the energy-saving and emission-reduction benefits are outstanding, which significantly improves the competitiveness of “Li Da” in the chartering market.
