1. Overview of teaching resources
Since 1978, our center has been approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council to undertake the enrollment of postgraduate education and training tasks in the first-level disciplines "Marine and Ocean Engineering" and "Fluid Mechanics". Over the past few decades, it has recruited more than 400 master and doctoral students for the country, and now there are more than 90 master and doctoral students.
The center recruits students for outstanding undergraduates and masters graduates from key universities such as "211" and "985" engineering majors in marine and ocean engineering, mechanics, acoustics, aircraft design, mechanical design, automatic control, and electronic technology. Currently, there are two doctoral enrollment majors: "Ship and Marine Structure Design and Manufacturing" and "Fluid Mechanics", and three master's enrollment programs "Ship and Marine Structure Design and Manufacturing", "Fluid Mechanics", and "Weapon Launch Theory and Technology" Professional.
The China Ship Science Research Center has two academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, well-known experts in ship mechanics, international marine strategy experts, and founder of 3D hydroelasticity, Academician Wu Yousheng, and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, pioneers of deep diving technology, and academician Xu Fengnan, chief designer of the "Jiaolong" ship.
