2012-04-09Founded in 1951, China Ship Scientific Research Center is located in Wuxi, a beautiful city off the lake Taihu. CSSRC has more than 30 large and medium-sized ship and offshore engineering scientific research and test facilities, three national key laboratories, two national testing centers, one national energy and marine engineering equipment research and development center, and Taihu Laboratory of Deep-sea Technology and Science. The overall scale ranks the third in the world and the first in Asia. CSSRC is mainly engaged in the basic research on application of hydrodynamics, structural mechanics, vibration, noise, shock and explosion resistance, and other relevant technical directions in the field of ship and marine engineering, as well as research, design and development of innovative equipment such as high-performance ships and underwater vehicles.
